Emergency First Aid at Work
Our Emergency First Aid at Work course is a 1 day (8 hour) course covering all the essential techniques and best practices for workplace first aiders.
The Emergency First Aid at Work course covers a range of key areas including:
- The role of the first aider and managing an emergency
- Priorities of a first aider
- Recovery Position
- Basic Life Support
- Dealing with unconsciousness
- Causes of unconsciousness
- Wounds
- Control of Bleeding (minor and severe)
- Choking
- Burns and Scalds
- First Aid Kits
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
