GWO Working at Heights & Manual Handling Refresher (BSTR)

This refresher module builds upon your existing Working at Heights and Manual Handling knowledge and skills, ensuring you’re up-to-date with the latest best practices for the renewables industry. Through a combination of theoretical and practical training, you’ll review and enhance your abilities in:

  • Safe Work at Height: Confidently use basic personal protective equipment (PPE) and perform safe work at heights within a wind turbine environment.
  • Comprehensive Basic Rescue from Height: Refresh your skills in performing safe and effective rescue procedures in a remote wind turbine setting.
  • Safe Manual Handling: Reinforce positive manual handling and ergonomic techniques, learn to plan for alternatives to manual handling, and practice safe execution of manual handling tasks.

Upon successful completion of this BSTR Working at Heights with Manual Handling module, you will be able to independently and safely use basic PPE, work at heights, and perform comprehensive basic rescues at height in a remote wind turbine environment.
