The Piggery is a beautifully converted 1 bed studio-style cottage.

“This unique place was the piggery in a former life, connected to our beautiful 250 year old cottage. Now renovated to a high spec ‘The Piggery’ is open for guests. Beautiful vaulted ceiling with original beams and wrought iron chandelier.

The Gables is a family run hotel which is part of the Best Western Group.

Located in rural Falfield, the hotel is only a 3.3 miles (just a 6 minute drive) from our training facility at Cromhall Quarry, and offer SWMA students a discounted rate of accommodation.

Rate: £89 per person per night including breakfast.

Lunches: The Gables can supply packed lunches with a wide variety of food options, please enquire either by phone before your stay or when you check in at reception.

A beatific country house in the hamlet of North Nibley, roughly 2 miles from our training facility, Debs and Charles have a variety of rooms available including en-suite and twin room options.

As well as Bed and Breakfast there is also the option to book in for dinners too, as well as a guest snug with WiFi, books, magazines and even a bar!

The Swan is a lovely 17th century hotel based under 4 miles (less than 10 minutes’ drive) from our training facility at SWMA.

Offering a range of 15 en-suite rooms, they have something for everyone and kindly offer our students a discounted rate when staying.

The Days Inn is a hotel based within Michaelwood Services, around 4 miles (8 minutes) from the SWMA training facility.

Ideal for crew or company group bookings

Enjoying an enviable position overlooking some of the most beautiful farmland in Gloucestershire, this traditional cottage within the Tortworth Estate is a fantastic base for those training with us at SWMA. Less than 1.5 miles away from the training facility, it is a 4 minute drive or 25 minute stroll. This cottage has 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6.

On entering this home, you will find the warm and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With traditional wood burner and TV/DVD, the lounge is an ideal space for relaxing and entertaining in. There’s both an attractive dining area and a useful kitchen island. The stylish kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Exploring further, there’s a charmingly furnished snug with TV / DVD. You will also find a utility room, equipped with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a separate shower room with WC. Moving up to the first floor, you will find two bedrooms, each with original exposed beams. There’s a comfy king-size room, and a twin zip-and-link (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request at time of booking). You will also find a bathroom, complete with shower over the bath and WC. Heading up to the second floor, which is accessed via a steep flight of steps, you will find two cosy attic rooms, each with a single bed and limited headroom.

Stepping outside, you can relax in the large enclosed garden, which is fully furnished with BBQ, and enjoy an al fresco meal.  There is ample off-road parking available.
