Description

This one-day course is designed for seafarers who need to refresh their STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats (FRB/FRC) certification. According to STCW regulations (Section A-VI/2, paragraph 11), seafarers must provide evidence of their continued competence every five years to perform the duties of a fast rescue boat crew member.

The course combines classroom theory with hands-on practical training, covering all the essential skills and knowledge required to meet the updated STCW 2010 standards. You can take this course on its own or as part of our STCW 5-Day Update course package for a complete renewal of your required certifications.

Prerequisites

To enrol in this course, you must hold a valid Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats certificate. Additionally, you must be able to prove, through the signing of a self-declaration form, that you have maintained the required standard of competence by undertaking onboard training and experience. The self-declaration form is a mandatory prerequisite for entry into this MCA-approved refresher course.
