Prerequisites: All delegates must hold a valid and in-date GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) Certificate, or have training records in WINDA for the relevant Modules.
Certification: Upon successful completion of the GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher (BSTR) courses, candidates will receive Global Wind Organisation approved certificates valid for two years.

The GWO Sea Survival Refresher course is designed to refresh the essential sea survival skills of personnel working in the offshore wind industry. It covers the same core content, duration, and learning objectives as the initial BST Sea Survival training, ensuring your continued competence in handling offshore emergencies.
This course is for anyone working in the offshore wind industry who has previously completed the GWO BST Sea Survival course and whose certification is nearing expiry (every 24 months). It’s crucial to maintain valid certification to work offshore.
The course covers a range of topics, including personal survival techniques, emergency response procedures, sea survival equipment usage, and safe transfer methods. It addresses both normal operational procedures and emergency scenarios specific to the offshore wind environment.
