Our STCW2010 4 Day Update package covers the following course refreshers over 4 consecutive days: Updated Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques, Updated Proficiency in Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, Updated Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (excluding fast rescue boats) and Updated Proficiency in Advanced Fire Fighting.

The Updated Proficiency in Advanced Fire Fighting is a one day theory course based around classroom learning. The focus will be upon shipboard fire fighting operations and the use and management of fire fighting parties, as well as inspection and maintenance of fire fighting systems and equipment on board.

This GWO Fire Awareness Refresher course ensures your skills and knowledge remain up-to-date, equipping you to prevent, assess, and combat fires effectively.

The STCW 2010 Updated Proficiency in Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting course is designed to ensure seafarers can competently fight fires at sea. The training covers the use of various firefighting equipment, including portable and wheeled extinguishers, hoses, and nozzles. It also focuses on how to extinguish different types of fires as part of a team and includes practical experience using breathing apparatus (BA) to perform casualty rescues and fight fires in smoke-filled environments.

This course mirrors the content, duration, and learning objectives of the initial BST Sea Survival training, focusing on refreshing your skills and knowledge to act safely and responsibly in all aspects of offshore operations.
