Our STCW2010 4 Day Update package covers the following course refreshers over 4 consecutive days: Updated Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques, Updated Proficiency in Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, Updated Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (excluding fast rescue boats) and Updated Proficiency in Advanced Fire Fighting.

The Updated Proficiency in Advanced Fire Fighting is a one day theory course based around classroom learning. The focus will be upon shipboard fire fighting operations and the use and management of fire fighting parties, as well as inspection and maintenance of fire fighting systems and equipment on board.

The Updated Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats course provides seafarers with the essential skills to operate survival and rescue craft safely during and after an emergency.

Fast-track your statutory ancillary safety qualifications required for an MCA Boatmasters’ Licence (BML) and commercial Workboat Code Edition 3 (WBC3) operations. Rather than booking standalone courses across fragmented dates, this coordinated training allows you to complete all three mandatory safety disciplines— Elementary First Aid (EFA), Personal Survival Techniques (PST) and MCA Approved 1-Day Fire Fighting—in an efficient 3-day consecutive block at our purpose-built South Gloucestershire facility.

This STCW elementary first aid course module is a combination of theory and practical training for basic first aid and life saving skills. This course is intended for all seafaring personnel who need to be able to practice elementary first aid on board ship.
