Our STCW2010 4 Day Update package covers the following course refreshers over 4 consecutive days: Updated Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques, Updated Proficiency in Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, Updated Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (excluding fast rescue boats) and Updated Proficiency in Advanced Fire Fighting.

The Updated Proficiency in Advanced Fire Fighting is a one day theory course based around classroom learning. The focus will be upon shipboard fire fighting operations and the use and management of fire fighting parties, as well as inspection and maintenance of fire fighting systems and equipment on board.

The GWO Manual Handling (MH) Initial module equips wind turbine technicians and operational personnel with essential ergonomic knowledge, behavioural safety awareness, and kinetic handling techniques to prevent musculoskeletal injuries. Delivered under the revised GWO BST V20 Standard as a dedicated half-day course, this standalone module combines dynamic risk assessment using the TILE principle with realistic turbine handling scenarios, posture control, and tool vibration management.

Our STCW2010 3 Day Update package covers the following course refreshers over 3 consecutive days: Updated Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques, Updated Proficiency in Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting and Updated Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (excluding fast rescue boats).

The STCW 2010 Updated Proficiency in Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting course is designed to ensure seafarers can competently fight fires at sea. The training covers the use of various firefighting equipment, including portable and wheeled extinguishers, hoses, and nozzles. It also focuses on how to extinguish different types of fires as part of a team and includes practical experience using breathing apparatus (BA) to perform casualty rescues and fight fires in smoke-filled environments.

This BST Fire Awareness Module is vital for anyone working in the wind turbine industry, providing the knowledge and skills to minimise fire risks and respond effectively in emergency situations.

The GWO Working at Height (WAH) Initial course provides wind industry personnel with the essential knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to work safely at height and perform emergency rescues in wind turbine generator (WTG) environments. Delivered under the revised GWO BST V20 Standard as a dedicated 2-day standalone module, this course combines comprehensive Personal Fall Protective Equipment (PFPE) inspection and fitting with realistic vertical climbing, work positioning, and casualty rescue drills.

The STCW Personal Survival Techniques course (often referred to as Sea Survival training) covers all the essentials for dealing with a survival situation at sea.

The Updated Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats course provides seafarers with the essential skills to operate survival and rescue craft safely during and after an emergency.
